Mooselookmeguntic Lake is a beautiful pristine lake situated in the
mountains of Maine. It is home to a variety of wildlife, including and
not limited to osprey, bald eagles, loons, mink, otter, and
kingfishers. It’s western shore is primarily undeveloped and protected
from development through a variety of public and private interest,
into perpetuity. The lake is predominately a native Landlocked Salmon
and Brook Trout fishery. It’s tributaries, the Cupsuptic, Kennebago
Rivers and Bemis Stream offer habitat sufficient to allow the trout
and salmon to successfully reproduce. Mooselookmeguntic Lake has not
been stocked for over 20 years.
The village of Oquossoc is to the north and the town of Rangeley is to
the east. Churches, Village markets, restaurants, marinas and service
stations are all close by.
In addition to fishing and hunting, trails for hiking, biking,
snowmobiling, and skiing is what often bring tourists to the area.

government. The local school educates children from kindergarten
through 12th grade.

public about our environment.
